Q. Why has it taken you this long to release the next cookbook? I've been waiting for a year!

So after I had my dream of opening a cupcake store, I had this idea that I wanted to create a cookbook that was different. I wanted to create a cookbook that people would actually use and create the most amazing cupcakes they've ever baked. This was back in 2013-2014 when all the bookstore chains were starting to close down. No publisher could understand the dream we were chasing. So being determined, we took it upon ourselves to publish our first cookbook Hatch That Dream.

In less than 18 hours we had pre-sold 100 limited edition cookbooks online - we were in awe. 

We had never published a book before and let's just say it was probably as difficult as opening a bricks & mortar store, if not harder. We made mistakes, a lot of them. We put our blood, sweat and tears into it (seriously though, I got paper cuts from mailing out so many books).

Anyway long story short, we've been putting it off as it is not a small project that we're undergoing and after opening up our Eastland & Fountain Gate stores last year - we are now in the position to take on board a new project. HURRAH! We are excited!

Q.When will the cookbook be available?


Q.How many recipes will it have?

Including our classics such as Red Velvet, Vanilla Vanilla, Devil's Food Choc and our amazing Gluten Free & Vegan recipes - it will be about 20+ recipes. It will also include delicious fillings, toppings and frostings.

Q.Why is postage/shipping so expensive, especially overseas?

We use Auspost 3kg parcels as books are heavy. We know, International shipping rates are pretty ridiculous but it's our best chance of knowing the cookbook will get to you.

If you want to save on shipping costs, you can select pick up instore and you'll be able to pick it up at our Melbourne Central store.
